What got you interested in rugby and why did you join the Crusaders?
I became interested in rugby after finding the Crusaders on Facebook and their website. I watched a couple matches online and was immediately hooked. I contacted the team asking when they practiced and the Match Secretary told me to show up to Rugby 101 to get a feel for the game. I had so much fun I decided I would do whatever it took to become a Crusader.

I work in Information Technology for the government.

I was born in Hawaii and I hate ranch dressing.
What's your favorite thing about rugby?
The endless sexual innuendo (for example: 80 minutes, 15 positions, no protection. Wanna Ruck?). The camaraderie from all members on your team or the opposing team... and the shorts, of course!
Do you have any advice for people who are on the fence about playing?
You'll never learn if you don't try.
Overall, how has rugby affected your life?
When I joined the team, I expected to learn the rules and techniques about the game. What I didn't expect was to be welcomed into a family of amazing people from all walks of life.
