Founded in 2009, the St. Louis Crusaders are a USA Rugby and International Gay Rugby men's team dedicated to the promotion of equality and diversity in sports through rugby. We are proud to be a Division IV social team in the Mid-America GU. We welcome all men ages 18 and older regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, height, weight, build, and the level of fitness or experience.
We are connected to multiple communities besides rugby. That's why we are proud to stand with others in appreciation and support of their goals. We've walked down Market Street in St. Louis Pride, we've partnered with testing centers to promote smarter, safer sex, and in 2016, we participated for the first time as a team in the international biennial Bingham Cup representing Missouri. Find out what we are up to now!
The team has become a formidable staple in the St. Louis and LGBT communities. A great deal of credit goes to all those who worked hard with us to build the team and believe in us. The amount of gratitude we have for our sponsors and donors cannot be overstated. It is because of them that we are able to provide a safe environment for people to try rugby without fear of being judged.
