What got you interested in rugby and why did you join the Crusaders?

I found out about rugby back in 2012 when the Columbia RFC Outlaws hosted a third half for the Crusaders at the local gay bar in Columbia, MO. I started playing rugby for the Outlaws a few weeks later and have whored on for the Crusaders every chance I could get.

What position(s) do you play?

I'm trained as a forward and have mostly stuck to the tight five - prop, hooker, and lock.

How long have you played rugby?

I've been playing for almost 4 years now.

What do you do for a living?

I'm an Administrative Assistant, Secretary, Executive Assistant, a Jack of All Trades if you will... or just an Office Boy.

What’s a fun fact about you?

A fun fact about me is that I love to take long walks on the beach holding hands with my imaginary boyfriend. . . in the middle of the Walmart parking lot. I'm never serious, and always joking about something.

What’s your favorite thing about rugby?

The one thing I love about rugby is that it doesn't matter who you are, what color your skin is, who you love, what size you are— everyone can play rugby. If you have the will to play rugby, a willing team will find a way to get you to practice.

If you are going to Bingham, what are you most excited about?

I'm looking forward to meeting new friends from around the world, seeing some of my old friends I've made along the way, and playing some great rugby.

Overall, how has rugby affected your life?

I've become a stronger person, physically and emotionally, because of rugby. I now have a much wider social network of friends since I've started playing rugby.
