What got you interested in rugby and why did you join the Crusaders?
I knew pretty much nothing about the sport before I started. I'd been wanting to get outside and do something physical for a while so when I heard about the team through a friend, I just decided to go for it.
What position(s) do you play?
I've played as a hooker, prop, and flank. My favorite is propping.
How long have you played rugby?
1 year.
What do you do for a living?
I'm in the process of getting my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at St. Louis University.
What’s a fun fact about you?
My freckles grow back over scars.
What’s your favorite thing about rugby?
Running through people, for sure.
If you are going to Bingham, what are you most excited about?
I've been out for most of this season with an injury, so honestly, just to be back on the pitch playing rugby.
Overall, how has rugby affected your life?
It has allowed me to established friendships with a great group of guys.
