What got you interested in rugby and why did you join the Crusaders?
I had a very limited understanding of rugby before I joined but had heard of the Crusaders awhile back. I thought it might be a fun way to become more active and meet a lot of new people.
What position(s) do you play?
I have played lock and flank though I am excited to try out more.
How long have you played rugby?
This is my first season playing rugby.
What do you do for a living?
Right now, I am currently studying to get a degree in Computer Science while making pizza at my job.
What's a fun fact about you?
I was voted Mr. Congeniality in an all-male beauty pageant for my dorm in college.
What's your favorite thing about rugby?
I really like tackling people. It gets out a lot of my aggression.
Do you have any advice for people who are on the fence about playing?
Come out to our practice, meet the guys, and get use to running— a lot.
Overall, how has rugby affected your life?
It has really helped me meet a lot of new people and it got me out of the house too.
